Day 2 and it only gets better

Our day ends with a walk on the beach and what you don't see is the Krispy Kreme doughnuts that we finished it off with. We have had a great family day together and again say a big thank you to our family for allowing us this time!!! I am exhausted (like everyone else around me) so I am off to eat my krispy kreme and go to bed!

Sandy and Emma Lee are trying to decide what to pick on the menu.

Emma Lee enjoys a dance with our waitress at Joe's! She did pretty good and thankfully kept Jesse from getting up and trying it!

While waiting for a table at Joe's Crab Shack we spotted Santa Claus on vacation. Emma wanted to talk to him so bad but I explained that when you are on vacation you don't want anyone disturbing you!!

Emma finally decided to brave the monkey drop...she went high into the air and then dropped! It took her to the end of the evening to decide she could do this one!

Even though this was a swim suit free day we managed to find a way to get wet. Sandy and Jesse showed no mercy in the bumper boats...by the way the bumper boats had a water canon on the front and a demon child got behind Emma and I, trapped us, and soaked me down while laughing in his demonic tones!!!

Emma gets in on the Go-Kart racing too and beats them all...I guess driving the 4-wheeler at Aunt Gaye's has taught her something!!

Sandy beats Daddy at the go-karts!

Sandy and Jesse arm wrestle while we wait for lunch at The Crab Trap.

We started our day today with a trip to the Gulfarium...we saw sea lions, dolphins, sharks, and some other really cool animals.

Our first day in Destin

Thanks to our wonderful extended family we are on vacation in Destin, Florida. We want to say a great big THANK YOU! to Mr. Jerry and Aunt Jana for giving us this wonderful gift. Jesse is truly relaxing and we are definitely molding together as a family again; however, you may notice someone missing in the pictures...Brand. He had to stay home since he is only 6 1/2 months we did not think he could quite handle the water, sun, and travel. Another plus...today is my 13th anniversary and one of the few I get to spend with Jesse!!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!!!

We arrived at Silver Shells about 10 PM Sunday night...just in time for me to see the season premiere of "Army Wives!" (Since Gilmore Girls has gone off this is my new obsession!) The girls were thrilled with the fact that our door is the elevator! I did not think they were ever going to sleep, but they finally did. Sandy was up at 6 AM and she woke Emma Lee up at 7 AM and they finally got us up at 8AM. The pictures below is what we did the rest of the day!!! It was great but man I don't think any of us will need any salt on our food for a while! We ate at Fudpuckers today and we enjoyed the "gators."

They are HOME!!!

We are waiting for the guys to come home for good!! It is 3 AM Saturday night or Sunday morning at Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg!!!
