Tell A Soldier Thank You from the Bottom of Your Heart

Click on the title to check out how to say thanks! This is a campaign to help people know how to show their gratitude for those serving our county! Our soldiers are there doing what most of us can't and most of these men and women believe in the work they are doing. Even if you don't agree with the reasons please remember that these men and women are giving up a lot and at least deserve a "Thank You!"

Catch Up

Ok well since the last written post many things have happened. Brand and I came home the week after Thanksgiving and managed to land a spot on WCBI news. Everything was going well until the week before Christmas. Brand, mother, and I ended up back in the Amory hospital with RSV. Thankfully God placed loving doctors and nurses in our path to take care of us. Bennett and Jana came in on the 20th and started spreading the news that they were expecting a baby and thankfully they came and spent time with us in the hospital. During this time Jesse was trying to come home on his R&R but kept being delayed. Finally on Christmas Eve he arrived in Tupelo around 3 PM which is the same day Dr. Godi let Brand and I leave Amory. Jesse held Brand for the first time in the Tupelo Airport on Christmas Eve. He was 5 weeks old, which also means he still had a week before he, Brand, was suppose to be here.

We had a wonderful Christmas as you can see in the pictures below. The time actually went by very slowly, thankfully. It is now February with March approaching and June seems soooo far away. Those few people who still visit every now and then please take a moment to stop and pray for Jesse, his troops, his family, and all those connected with him in any way. He is extremely homesick and we are extremely homesick for him. Why is doing the right thing never easy????

Christmas at the Garners with Jesse home!!!!
