Backyard Fun

While Sandy has been gone to camp this week Emma Lee and Brand got the "whale" out and had some summertime water fun. They really enjoyed being outside and Jesse and I enjoyed getting outside with them for a while. The water sure makes 90 something degree weather seem a little easier to bare too.

Jesse has been at Guard Drill all week in Grenada and had the weekend off. When we got up Saturday and it was such a pretty day we could not resist getting out with the kids to at least have a picnic. Well after thinking about it we decided to go to Davis Lake and see if there was still swimming going on and if not we could still enjoy the day outside. Luck would have it we spent the entire day out there. Momma even came on out and spent the day laughing at Jesse with the kids out in the water. It was definitely a great family day we will not forget!

Jesse and his train of floaters seeing how far out they can all go!

Even Thad got in on the fun of the day laying out in the sun and soaking it up!

Emma floating and splashing having a good time trying to keep Sandy from tipping her over!

Brand would not have anything to do with water last summer but he seems to love it this year!!!

Getting ready to pack up and head home after a long great day!!!

The upstairs!!!

Standing inbetween the kids' rooms and looking out is a living room and this is the window looking out to the front. There will be a window seat there! (stairs are to the right of this picture)
This is the other bedroom and to the right the upstairs bathroom.
This is at the top of the stairs looking into one of the kids' rooms
The back...as I was taking pictures and looking around I realized I had never gone to the back of the house much less gotten a picture of it so here is my back porch...that big hole is where the french doors to the dining room will be, small window to the left is the kitchen and the door hole to the far left is the door from our bedroom. The 2 windows upstairs are the kids' rooms.
