Sandy has had a big week...she had her first girl scout meeting where they sent her home with a fundraiser and on the 2nd or 3rd day she had her sheet filled up. She then was invited to go to a pumpkin patch where she picked her own pumpkin and played so hard she went to bed at 7:30 PM. Her nerves are starting to shake a little as State Fair approaches. She leaves Thursday for Jackson and shows in the morning and that night on Friday. Saturday she can just have fun cause her part will be over.
Emma Lee has also been fundraising for school but she had delicious candy bars. I took them to school and they were gone in about 2 days. She is loving school. There is always a new story to tell on the days that she goes. Emma Lee and Memaw plan fun stuff on Tuesday and Thursday when she does not go. This week she will also be tagging along to state fair with sandy.
As far as Jesse and I we are doing great. Trying to get started on plans for building our house, leading a Webelos group (4th and 5th grade boys...what were we thinking), Anchor initiation is this week, getting ready for Singing Christmas Tree (first Saturday and Sunday of December), and just about anything else someone can con us into doing.
Oh, and the big news of the weekend is that the Band and all extras received 1's this weekend at State competition. Saturday was exhausting but rewarding. Also, more exciting news...my library has shelves! Now maybe I can get some books on them so it looks like a real library. completed pictures soon!!!
