Have not had much time to update lately...maybe these next few pictures will help catch everyone up. We moved into the new house October 9, 2009 and finally parked in the garage March 15, 2010. We have enjoyed a Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, several bdays, Sunday School parties, and countless of late nights with friends. This definitely the house of my dreams. It was really funny the other day cleaning out boxes i found my Senior book and the prediction in it said that I would be married to Jesse living in a 2-story house...lol! Our pantry is ready for food...well as soon as the doors are put back on!

Thanks to Aunt Gaye and Uncle Doyle (my wonderful sister-in-law and her husband) my stairs are a fine work of art in our home.

The master bathroom vanity...those drawers under the sink tilt out with storage for toothbrushes and tooth paste! Cool huh?!?!

The garbage cans hide in the cabinet and can be put places where the tiny people can't get into them! In the corners are lazy susans :)

Yes those beautiful cabinets go all the way to the ceiling...i HATE cleaning places that no one sees so i did not see the need to waste the space with stupid knick knacks that would just need dusting. Besides that is the perfect place for me to hide things...hehehehe!!! the hole you see is where the vent-a-hood and freestanding range will go...look at all those plugs. Until you have lived in 100 year old houses with fridges plugged into extension cords and alarm clocks plugged in above you headboard you will never understand the need for plugs everywhere!!!!

During the summer Sandy has started the process of Braces! She went Tuesday to have 2 baby teeth and a filling. She was great...Dr Rhyne bragged about how great she was and how smart she is. I don't know what a dentist does to you so that he can tell how intelligent you are but he did. I was so proud of her. Keep her in your prayers because next Monday she goes to get 2 more baby teeth pulled and another filling. August 13th is the magic day for braces at 9 AM.

We have walls

It has been a while since I have updated on the house so I decided to make everyone leave me alone and let me do it right quick. We have all the drywall up and Jesse's sister Gaye has been assigned the task of doing the "cutting in" which is getting the parts of the walls you have to do with a brush. Hopefully I will be some help tomorrow rolling on primer. We purchased all the paint except for what is coming in on the truck tomorrow. We also purchased this gray slate flooring for the kitchen and the laundry room. Only thing left on the outside is the vinyl siding, staining the porches, and lighting. We met with the cabinet man Monday and we should have cabinets by Labor Day. So we are moving right along!!! Can't wait!!!

Saturday Night Fun

Somehow Alex ended up with both toddlers and Preston acting goofy behind him. He managed better than most dads!

Will and Brand becoming buddies...Will was born 18 days before Brand! They enjoyed having someone their own age to play with for a change!

We had a wonderful time at Robyn's. The kids swam until they were exhausted, we ate pizza, and had good grown up conversation...something I have been craving! I am so thankful for good friends who are fun to be with and those of you who had to miss out---all I can say is I hope you make it next time!!!
